Montgomery's "Anne of Green Gables," "Little Women "by Louisa May Alcott, and "Heidi "by Johanna Spyri. About the author: Frances Hodgson Burnett (1849 - 1924) wrote several popular novels for adults, but she is best remembered for her children's novels--which include such classics as "Little Lord Fauntleroy," "A Little Princess," and "The Secret Garden."
